  Griffiths, Larry Paul
   
   
  Larry Paul Griffiths, 61, of Lebanon died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at his 
  residence. He was the husband of Eleanor Barr Griffiths. Born in Lebanon on 
  November 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Paul Griffiths and the late 
  Bernice Lieb Solesky. He worked in shipping and receiving at GAF Elk Corp. in 
  Myerstown, and had also worked at the former CleaverBrooks Co. in Lebanon. He 
  was a member of the Liberty Fire Company Marching Club, Rural Security Fire 
  Company, Lebanon American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and Maennerchor Club. He 
  was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member 
  of St. Mary's Church, Lebanon. Larry also enjoyed playing golf. Surviving in 
  addition to his wife, are a daughter, Rachel Griffiths of Minneapolis, 
  Minnesota; a brother, Robert Griffiths; and three sisters, Paulette Cross, 
  Suzanne Planken and Felisha Solesky. Funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. from 
  Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. Interment at Grand View 
  Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing hours Sunday evening from 6-8 and Monday 
  morning from 10-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made in Larry's name to the Lebanon Catholic School Class 
  of 1965, 1400 Chestnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
