  Charles Groet CORNWALL Mr. Charles Groet, 93, of Cornwall Manor went to be with 
  the Lord on March 30, 2008. Charles was born in Rochester where he was a 
  newspaper man until he entered the U.S. Army and served in World War II as a 
  staff sergeant. After the war, he worked on the N.Y. Central Railroad and 
  resided in Manlius, N.Y., before moving to Pennsylvania. Charles belonged to 
  many veterans organizations; he enjoyed fishing and bird watching. Charles is 
  survived by his two loving daughters, Alice M. Hunter of Greenfield, Mass., and 
  Barbara A. Lehmann (Edward) of Mattydale, N.Y.; a sister, Lois Borgman (Ken) of 
  Florida; a step-daughter, Cynthia Proulx of Massachusetts; a special friend, 
  Beatrice MacIntyre of Cornwell. Dad enjoyed six grandchildren, Anthony Orso of 
  Texas, John Dowling of Texas, James Dowling of Massachusetts, Edward Lehmann 
  III of Syracuse, Jennifer Dunkley of Chittenango and Mathew Dowling of Florida. 
  He also leaves 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to 
  the Defenders of Wildlife, 1130 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036.
