  Helen Haak February 2, 1916 – November 18, 2008 Helen Haak, 92, formerly of 
  Lebanon passed away Tuesday evening at Phoebe Richland Health Care Services. 
  Born in Minersville, February 2, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Simon 
  and Josephine Descavage. Helen graduated from Pottsville High School, and went 
  on to obtain her teaching degree from then Kutztown State College. Helen taught 
  in the Schaefferstown School District, teaching the sixth grade. Helen is 
  predeceased by a brother, Anthony Descavage; and sisters Francis and Margaret 
  Descavage, and Anna Fisher. She is survived by her niece, Jo Ann Jamieson of 
  Warminster. Services will be private; Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, 
  is handling the arrangements.
