  Valone D. Haldeman JONESTOWN Valone D. Haldeman, 93, of Jonestown, passed away 
  on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the ECC Retirement Community, Myerstown. She 
  was the wife of the late Levi H. Haldeman. Born in E. Hanover Twp. on November 
  27, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Kathryn Fitting Tobias. 
  For 42 years she worked as a seamstress for various area dress factories. She 
  attended the St. John's United Church of Christ, Jonestown, and she enjoyed 
  reading and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley M. Haldeman of 
  Jonestown. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Ralph and Earl 
  Tobias, and sisters, Vesta Miller and Esther Moyer. Funeral services will be 
  held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Strauss-Kreamer & 
  Lum Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St. Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to 
  the service. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp. In 
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church at P.O. Box 
  688, Jonestown, PA 17038 or to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 E. Brown 
  St., Suite 23, Middletown, PA 17057.
