Miller shabodeho@aol.com July 11, 2008, 12:10 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 7/1/2008 Hall, Eleanor Eleanor Hall, 94, of Newberry Road, Middletown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2008, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Hall, who died in March 1980. They married on July 4, 1946. Born in Hanover, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Grant and Helen Wood Bowman. She attended Hanover Elementary School, and was a graduate of the Class of 1932, Eichelberger High School, Hanover, Pa. She was a member of the Independent Bible Church of Sand Beach. Eleanor had worked at the Hanover Shoe Company, Hanover; Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown; King Kup, Hershey; Gladstone Candy, Hummelstown; and Kropp's Tool Co., Middletown. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and was a member of the Middletown Welcome Wagon. Eleanor also enjoyed reading, ceramics, country music, and worshipping at her church. She is survived by two sons, Larry, husband of Sandra Hall of Mt. Gretna, and Edgar, husband of Carol Hall of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Melody, wife of John Welk of Milton Grove; eight grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Romaine Campbell and Anna Bixler; and a brother, Kenneth Bowman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Eleanor's life celebration from the Independent Bible Church of Sand Beach, 216 E. Canal St., Hummelstown, PA 17036, on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Martzall officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
