  Marian L. Hassler, 84, of Lancashire Hall, Manheim Township, died Tuesday, June 
  24, 2008, at the home. Born July 30, 1923, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of 
  the late Ralph R. and Amelia Miller Hassler. She was a retired teacher, having 
  taught in the parochial schools Our Lady of the Valley, Lebanon, and St. 
  Monica's Grade School in Philadelphia. She was a 1942 graduate of Lebanon High 
  School, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lebanon Valley College. 
  She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Lebanon, and a former member of St. 
  Monica's Church in South Philadelphia. She is survived by several cousins. She 
  was the last of her immediate family. Preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn 
  Hassler; and one brother, Lloyd Hassler. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10 
  a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon. Interment at Ebenezer 
  Cemetery, North Lebanon Township. Visitation Tuesday morning 9:30-10 at the 
  church. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
