  Arlene H. "Mem" Heberling, 87, Rexmont, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in 
  ManorCare, Lebanon. She was the wife of Earl B. Heberling, who passed away in 
  May 1960. She was born September 11, 1920, in Fontana, daughter of the late 
  Homer and Edna Shaak Balsbaugh. She was retired from the nursing department of 
  the Lebanon VA Medical Center. She was a member of Quentin United Church of 
  Christ, and was a graduate of the Schaefferstown High School. Surviving are 
  children Ruth A., wife of David Martin of Lebanon, Nancy M., wife of Tom Weaber 
  of Lebanon, Larry E. Heberling of Lebanon, Gary R. Heberling and his son, Colt, 
  with whom she resided; nine grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; 14 greatgreat-
  grandchildren; and sister Jeanette, wife of Marvin Shaak of Myerstown. She was 
  preceded in death by grandchildren Tammy Jo Smith, Jim Heberling; two sisters; 
  and a brother. Funeral services Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 10 a.m. Rohland 
  Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where a viewing will 
  be held Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Schaefferstown Cemetery.
