  Heefner II, Daniel J.    
   
   
  Daniel J. Heefner II, 59, of East Maple Street, Palmyra, died Wednesday, June 
  25, 2008, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born October 16, 1948, in 
  Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Daniel J. and June (Rodgers) Heefner. He 
  retired from the Mechanicsburg Navel Depot, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the 
  Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife, Linda D. (Gipe) Heefner; sons D.J. Heefner 
  of Harrisburg and Chad M. Heefner of Palmyra; sisters Carol Kramer of 
  Lewisberry, Judy Buffington of Harrisburg and Lisa Berry of Harrisburg. Funeral 
  services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Buse Funeral Home, 
  145 North Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 9:30 a.m. Burial with 
  military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
