  Mabel E. Herr, 88, of South Forge Road, and formerly of South Lincoln Street, 
  Palmyra, died Thursday, October 23, 2008, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. 
  Born January 1, 1920, in Bachmanville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel 
  and Ella M. (Cassel) Nye. She attended the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, 
  and was the widow of Styron E. Herr, who died July 5, 2007. Surviving are her 
  children, Audrey J., wife of Richard Eckert of Campbelltown, and Donald E., 
  husband of Marcia Herr of Edenton, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 13 
  great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, 
  2008, at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, Hilltop Road, Hummelstown. 
  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, 
  Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American 
  Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 
  17110; or to her church, PO Box 648, Hershey, PA 17033.
