Hetrick, 82, of Jonestown passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Calvin V. Hetrick. Born in Lebanon on September 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Maggie Ritchie May. For many years, along with her husband, they owned and operated Calvin Hetrick Excavating and Septic Tank Service. Prior to that, she had worked at Hershey Chocolate Factory. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale, and for many years she a member of the United Methodist Women. She was generous in her support of the Christian Children's Fund, guide dog training and several other charities. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy M., wife of Michael R. Swinton of Corinth, N.Y.; a brother, James E. May II of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren, Thomas Clothier, Katharine Lawson and Calvin Clothier; and four greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight May; and a sister, Kathleen Foster. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 98 Fisher Ave., Jonestown. Viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, Jonestown, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery.
