  Rose C. Hill, 87, of 230 Strack Drive, Myerstown, died Thursday, November 27, 
  2008, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Hill. Born 
  October 29, 1921, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose 
  Horn Ditzler. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and driving. She was a 
  member of St. Cecilia's Church, Lebanon. She is survived by two daughters, 
  Marie Hill and Sue Hill, both of Myerstown; two granddaughters, Heather, wife 
  of Keith Keener of Lebanon, and Candy, wife of Dan Weiant of Myerstown; two 
  greatgrandchildren, Cody Keener and Alex Weiant; a sister, Mary, wife of Bill 
  Wagaman of Hagerstown, Md.; a sister-in-law, Annie Ditzler of Lebanon; many 
  beloved nieces; and one nephew, and their families. Her beloved buddy and dog 
  Digger. Preceded in death by two sons, Michael F. Hill and Stephen J. Hill; one 
  brother, Frank (Bud) Ditzler. Mass of Christian burial Friday at 10 a.m. from 
  St. Cecilia's Church, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. Interment at St. Gertrude's 
  Cemetery. Viewing hours Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 99:30 a.m. at Thompson 
  Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. Memorial contributions may be 
  made in Rose's name to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center 
  Drive, P.O. Box 1950, Clarksburg, MD 208711950.
