Miller shabodeho@aol.com September 23, 2008, 2:23 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 9/9/2008 Hockley, Mary Louise Jagnow Mary Louise Jagnow Hockley, 81, of 711 S. 15th St., Lebanon, Pa., passed away Sunday, September 7th, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Born January 17th, 1927, in Lebanon to the late Carl and Reba Jagnow, she graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1945. She received her B.A. degree in education from Lebanon Valley College. In 1959 she began her teaching career in the Lebanon School District. During her 30-year teaching career, she taught at Franklin, Steven and Southwest Elementary schools. She was an avid fan of the Eagles, Phillies and Penn State. In earlier years, she enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. Surviving are Frank, her husband of 58 years (September 7, 1950); daughter Karen Woodruff and husband William; son Frank Jr. and wife Susan; grandchildren Megan and Matthew Woodruff; brother Carl Jagnow and wife Sharon; sister Nancy Vanwinkle and husband Fred; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation from 10 a.m. till time of services. Interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Salem Lutheran Church, Lebanon County Library, or an agency of your choice.
