  Marie P. Hoerner PALMYRA Marie P. Hoerner, 98, of South Railroad Street, 
  Palmyra, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, 
  Lebanon. Born September 20, 1909, in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late 
  John H. and Ella L. (Seltzer) Batdorf. She retired from Mrs. Miller's Pie Shop, 
  Palmdale, and was the widow of Clarence L. Hoerner. Surviving are her 
  daughters, Patsy A., wife of Simon Yingst of Palmyra, and Carole L., wife of 
  Enos Lingle of Palmyra; grandchildren Jeffrey Yingst, Karen Uhrich and Shelly 
  Spangler; and greatgrandson Dylan Spangler. Funeral services were held at the 
  convenience of the family with the Rev. Dr. Marie L. Buffaloe, pastor of Derry 
  Presbyterian Church, Hershey, officiating. Burial was in Gravel Hill Cemetery, 
  Palmyra. Arrangements were handled by Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra.
