  Hoover, Henry A.     
   
   
  Henry A. Hoover, 73, of Jonestown passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 
  his residence surrounded by family members. He was the devoted husband of the 
  late Janet M. Hoffa Hoover. He was born in Union Township on April 9, 1935, and 
  was the son of the late David A. Hoover and Pauline M. Adams Hoover. Henry was 
  a 1953 graduate of Jonestown High School, and was a former employee of the H.B. 
  Reese Candy Co. and Adams Brothers Masonry Contractors. He was a self-employed 
  plumbing and heating contractor, and a talented carpenter and stone mason. He 
  had lovingly dedicated the last 29 years of his life to the care of his son, 
  Lonald D. Hoover. In addition to Lonald, he is survived by daughter Jelena G., 
  wife of John C. Derr of Myerstown; and Mitchell H.A. Hoover, husband of Renee 
  Korf Hoover of Fillmore, Ind.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 
  Also surviving are sisters Shirley B., wife of Nelson Royer of New Bunkerhill, 
  Judith R. Seibert of Lebanon, Janice L., wife of Robert Miller of Lancaster, 
  Maxine R., wife of Dennis Kerkaslager of Jonestown; and brother Larry D. 
  Hoover, husband of Gloria Weller Hoover of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by 
  one sister, Darlene A. Hoover Smith. Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 
  Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at the convenience 
  of the family.
