Horst, 73, of 201 Lengle Road, Myerstown, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Aaron M. Horst and the late John O. Martin. She was born March 5, 1935, in Bareville, a daughter of the late Ezra and Anna Zimmerman Martin. Nora was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Erla, wife of Leroy Horst of Savannah, N.Y., Alma, wife of Elmer Snyder of Bethel, Marvin Martin of Myerstown, Nancy, wife of Delmar Rutt of Savannah, N.Y., Mabel, wife of Kenneth Sensenig of Mt. Joy, Norma, wife of Dennis Musser of Bethel, Louella, wife of Earl Zimmerman of Newmanstown, Marian, wife of Carl Hoover of Warrensburg, Mo., Arlene, wife of Mervin Martin of Middleburg; 69 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; stepchildren Glenn, husband of Loretta Horst of Narvon, Harold, husband of Wilma Horst of Baring, Mo., Lena Mae, wife of Alvin Burkholder of Baring, Mo., Lucinda, wife of Neil Burkholder of Baring, Mo., Betty, wife of Wilmer Burkholder of Edina, Mo., Shirley, wife of Philip Oberholtzer of Loyal, Wis., Brenda Horst of Ephrata; four brothers and five sisters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Martin; five grandchildren; and a brother. Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Fairview Mennonite Church, Elco Drive, Myerstown. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, Jackson Road, Lebanon. Please omit flowers.
