Hostetter, 71, of Schoolhouse Road, Campbelltown, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 26, 1936, in Palmyra, he was a son of the late Milford O. and Malinda J. (Via) Hostetter. He retired with 34 years service from the H.B. Reese Candy Company; was a U.S. Air Force veteran; member of Sherk's Meeting House, the Annville American Legion, Country Cruisers, the Falcon Club of America and the local Keystone Chapter. Surviving are his wife Paula J. (Benz) Hostetter; children Richard C. Hostetter of Lebanon, Lisa L., wife of Kevin Lynn of Palmyra, and Patricia A. Hostetter of Grantville; step- children Roger D., husband of Eleanor Shifflett of Jonestown, and Susan M., wife of Galen Stevens of Palmyra; brothers Frank, husband of Darlene Hostetter, and Walter, husband of Paula Hostetter, all of Middletown, Ronald Hostetter of Hershey, Daniel, husband of Pam Hostetter of Lawn, and Eugene Hostetter of Illinois; sisters Thelma, wife of Donald Dennis of Elizabethtown, Shirley, wife of Dennis Daniels of Lebanon, and Barbara Casner of Millersburg; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful buddy, Sneakers. He was preceded in death by a sister, Arbutus Lefever, wife of Paul Lefever of Palmyra. Graveside services will be held in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the VNA, 3315 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111; or Sherk's Meeting House, 73 Sherk's Church Road, Annville, PA 17003; or PAWS, PO Box 855, Camp Hill, PA 17001.
