  Howard, Ruth Mae   
   
  Ruth Mae Howard, 95, of Annville, formerly of Market Place, Lebanon, and of 
  Schaefferstown, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Countryside Christian 
  Community. She was born May 31, 1913, in Millbach, daughter of the late Evan 
  and Mary Mock Biemesderfer. She was the wife of the late Archibald Howard, and 
  the mother of the late Mark Howard. Surviving are her sister, Violet Lesher of 
  Schaefferstown; son Paul and wife Ellen of Lebanon; daughters Mary Green of 
  Church Hill, Md., Grace Howard of Lebanon, and Lois Shaw of Glen Burnie, Md.; 
  grandsons Joshua, husband of Rebecca Green, Michael Shaw and Andrew Green; 
  granddaughters Jennifer Shaw and Elizabeth, wife of Darren Brandt; great-
  grandsons Patrick and Matthew; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was 
  employed by The Box Factory, Everite Knitting Mills and Nomends. A member of 
  Faith Baptist Church, she completed the Moody Bible Institute Correspondence 
  Course, took classes from Lancaster Bible College Night School, Child 
  Evangelism Fellowship Good News Clubs and Day Camps for many years. She was a 
  vigilant prayer warrior, praying for her family, friends, church and 
  missionaries. She supported many ministries. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, 
  October 17, 2008, from 1-2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 
  Cumberland Street, Lebanon, followed by services at 2 p.m. Memorials can be 
  sent to Good Samaritan Health System Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon; or 
  Moody Bible Institute, 820 N. La Salle Drive, Chicago, IL 60610.
