  John J. Ill, 63, of Lebanon died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Lebanon VA 
  Medical Center. Born September 18, 1944, he was the son of Julia E. Katos Ill 
  of Myerstown, and the late Adam J. Ill. He had worked for 30 years as a Lebanon 
  County employee in domestic relations. He was a 1962 graduate of Lebanon 
  Catholic High School, and a 1970 graduate of Lebanon Valley College. He was a 
  PIAA Basketball official for 21 years, and a PIAA Football official for 35 
  years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. 
  Surviving in addition to his mother are one brother, Anthony S. Ill of 
  Myerstown; two sisters, Patricia A. Plantz of Cornwall and Denise L. Devine of 
  Media, Pa.; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral 
  services Thursday at 10 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., 
  Lebanon. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing hours Thursday 
  morning from 9-10 at the funeral home.
