  James Irving Johnson, 87, of Lebanon died Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Lebanon 
  VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Sylvia Katz Johnson. Born in Marietta, 
  Okla., on November 22, 1920, he was the son of the late Oscar E. and Pauline 
  Walden Johnson. He was a retired cabinetmaker. He was a U.S. Army veteran, 
  having served during World War II. He was a member of Church of the Good 
  Shepherd, Lebanon. Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Janice 
  I. Johnson and Gary W. Johnson; two grandchildren, Fay and Joshua Johnson. 
  Memorial service Friday at 7 p.m. from Church of Good the Shepherd, 1500 
  Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Private family interment. Visitation Friday 
  evening from 6-7 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may 
  be made to Church of the Good Shepherd. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge
