  Jean F. Powell- Kauffman PADUCAH, KENTUCKY Jean was born March 5, 1934 in 
  Lebanon PA to John Powell and Edna Lehman. She passed away 08-26-07 at Lourdes 
  Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky of complications from surgery. She is survived by 
  her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her many friends. Jeannie 
  moved to Hollywood Fla. in 1965 with her husband, Charles P. Kaufmann and her 
  children. She fell in love with the ocean and was able to enjoy the out doors 
  with her family and friends. Jeannie was a homemaker, waitress, volunteer, and 
  a caretaker. She had always wanted to be a nurse. And even though she never 
  obtained her degree in nursing, she always cared for and helped people 
  throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her many friends in 
  Pennsylvania, Florida, Kentucky, Nevada & Arizona. God speed, Mom sorry it took 
  so long! Gravesite services for Jean will be held at 11:00 AM, March 5, 2008 at 
  Quentin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you are encouraged to make a donation to 
  any animal charity which would make Jeannie so happy because she loved animals 
  so much.
