  Harold H. Keener, 88, of Schaefferstown, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in 
  Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. He was the husband of Anna McQuate Keener, with 
  whom he was married to for 69 years. He was born January 13, 1920, a son of the 
  late Miles L. and Edna Wealand Keener. Harold was a retired machinist, working 
  for RCA in Lancaster of 26 years. He was a member of the St. Paul's United 
  Church of Christ, Schaefferstown, and had educational training at the 
  Wyomissing Polytech Institute. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. 
  Surviving in addition to his wife are children Lee D., husband of Donna L. 
  Keener of Womelsdorf, and Kathleen A. Hartman of Hopkins, Minn.; grandsons 
  Steven Keener, Gregory Hartman, Joel Hartman, Seth Keener; greatgrandchildren 
  Brady Keener and Olivia Hartman; brother Carl H., husband of Eileen Keener of 
  Muncy, Ind.; and sister Carol A., wife of Stanley Fox of Montana. He was 
  preceded in death by daughters Mary Elizabeth Keener and Constance Eileen 
  Keener. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Clauser Funeral 
  Home, North Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on 
  Monday at 10 a.m. Interment in the Schaefferstown Cemetery.
