  Alvin V. Keeney Alvin V. Keeney, 60, of Rehrersburg died April 23rd of natural 
  causes in his residence. Born in Tulpehocken Township son of the late Herbert 
  and Clara (Behney) Keeney. He was employed at Empire Steel & Casting Co., 
  Laureldale, for more than 40 years. Surviving are four brothers, Tyrus M. 
  Keeney and wife Joan of Elizabethtown, LeRoy P. Keeney of Newmanstown, Harry E. 
  Keeney and wife Susie of Bernville, Jerry A. Keeney and wife Geraldine of 
  Newmanstown; three sisters, Carrie M. Keeney of Mt. Aetna, Ada A., wife of 
  Robert Miller of Womelsdorf, Annie E., wife of Wilmer Beinhower of Ephrata. 
  Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. 
  Interment at Strausstown Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held 
  Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
