  Keppley, Kenneth L.   
   
  Kenneth L. Keppley, 63, of Newmanstown, Pa., died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at 
  the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, Pa. He was the husband 
  of Shirley A. (Unger) Keppley, to whom he was married 46 years on January 27. 
  Born in Schaefferstown, Pa., on January 21, 1945, he was the son of the late 
  Clarence and Mary (Bouthter) Keppley. He had been employed at the former North 
  American Refractories, Newmanstown, Pa., for 36 years. He was a member of the 
  Church of Christian Outreach, Newmanstown, and the National Rifle Association, 
  and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 
  three daughters, Kathy, wife of Robert Wright of Newmanstown, Sherry, wife of 
  Tracy Elliott of Newmanstown, and Jody, wife of Mark Kline of Newmanstown; six 
  grandchildren; six sisters, Betty Bachert of Schoeneck, Pa., Margaret Frankfort 
  of Newmanstown, Stella Martzall of Newmanstown, Edith Martzall of 
  Schaefferstown, Sherry Hammer of Newmanstown and Sally Weachter of Newmanstown; 
  three brothers, Clarence Keppley II of Newmanstown, Harold Keppley of 
  Brownstown, Pa., and Henry Keppley of Newmanstown; several nieces and nephews. 
  He was preceded in death by sisters Beatrice Beamesderfer and June Strickler. 
  Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2008, at 11 a.m. from Grose 
  Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Monday at 10 a.m. 
  Interment at Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christian Outreach, 101 West 
  Main Street, Newmanstown, PA 17073.
