We will miss her dearly, but it is a comfort to know that she is now in heaven. She was our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and sister, and she now begins her joyous, eternal reward in the presence of her Creator, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Marian was the wife of Frederic Kern Klopp of Lititz. They were married 67 years on March 1st. She was the 12th of 13 children born to Mr. John and Carrie (Sholly) Demler of Lebanon. She is survived by one sister, C. Glenoma Demler of Lebanon. Surviving are three children, Frederic Jr., husband of Sharon of Lebanon, Sandra Risser, wife of John Risser of Lititz, and Kenneth, husband of Deborah of Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Karen, wife of Mike McConnell of Lebanon, Kelly, wife of Corby Shuey of Richland, Julie, wife of Eric Runion of Rochester, N.Y., Jolene, wife of Franco Battaglia of Chadds Ford, Pa., Kenneth II, husband of Dana of Ephrata, Amy, wife of Nathan Schaffner of Maumee, Ohio, and Kimberly Klopp of Westerville, Ohio; greatgrandchildren Kaitlyn and Spencer McConnell, Jonathan, Catherine and Elizabeth Runion, Kylee and Kenneth Klopp III, Emilia Battaglia and Lyla Paige Schaffner. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Kristi Klopp of Lebanon. She was a professional drapery maker, and worked for the former Haak Brothers Department Store and the Ethan Allan Store in Lebanon. She was the superintendent of the Junior department of the First E.C. Church in Lebanon. She was a member of the Grace E.C. Church of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held from the Christman's Funeral Home Inc. at 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, on Monday at 11 a.m. preceded by viewing at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missions Fund at Grace E.C. Church of Lancaster, 415 S. Shippen St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Pastors Ronald D. Miller and Barry L. Bradley will officiate. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 6/8/2008.
