  Barbara A. Krall, 70, of Hershey passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 9, 
  2008, in Holy Spirit Hospital. Born January 21, 1938, in Lewistown, she was the 
  daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Kim) Erwin. She was a graduate of 
  Hershey High School, Hershey Junior College, and received her degree in 
  elementary education from Millersville University. She taught at West Hanover 
  and New Holland elementary schools before taking over as proprietor of Erwin's 
  Jewelry Store in Hershey. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 
  in Hershey, where she was actively involved in the church bazaar, taught CCD 
  classes, and was a member of the Legion of Mary . Surviving are her husband of 
  47 years, Roger Krall; two daughters, Kim Chan of Ocean, N.J., and Kathleen of 
  New Cumberland; two sons, Robert of Piscataway, N.J., and Patrick of 
  Pittsburgh; a sister, Martha Kreider of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Robert 
  Erwin of Hershey and Donald Erwin of Mechanicsburg; one grandson, Julian Chan 
  of Ocean, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 6-8 
  p.m. Friday, September 12, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 422 
  and Lucy Avenue, Hershey, where the rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m. Mass of 
  Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. in 
  the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Hershey 
  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made 
  to the Heart of the Parish Fund, St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 West Areba Ave., 
  Hershey, PA 17033. Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Route 422 and Lucy 
  Avenue, PO Box 475, Hershey, Pennsylvania, is handling the arrangements. .
