Born December 8, 1917, in Rebersburg, Centre County, she was a daughter of the late Curtis M. and Mayme (Wolfe) Bierly. She is predeceased by brothers Stanley C. Bierly (Phyllis), Paul Bierly (Evalyn survives), Eugene (Virginia survives), twin Woodrow Wilson Bierly (Phyllis survives), Bruce Allen; and sister Ruthe Gray (S. Johnny). Her husband, Charles F. Kreamer, to whom she was married 64 years, died April 2006. Edythe graduated 1934 from Miles Township High School, and 1936 from Madison Frederick Beauty School, Pittsburgh. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Grantville, where she was pianist and choir accompanist. She was in the Ono Fire Company Auxiliary and Farm Women Group 18. Edythe enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bridge, sewing and Phillies baseball. Surviving are children Mary Ann Snyder, wife of Paul of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Jeff F. Kreamer, husband of Marie of Mount Union, Jane A. Bomberger, predeceased by Charles of Hummelstown, and Barbara E. Kreamer of Annville; grandchildren are David J. VanKirk of Annville, Andrew C. Bomberger, husband of Angie of Annville, Matthew J. Bomberger, husband of Jessica of Shippensburg, and Aaron N. Bomberger of Hummelstown; greatgrandchildren are Charles A. Bomberger and Braeden A. Bomberger. Funeral worship will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church, 10310 Jonestown Road, Grantville, preceded by a viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Grantville Area Food Pantry, PO Box 2, Grantville, PA 17028; or to Zion Lutheran Church, PO Box 275, Grantville, PA 17028.
