  Robert E. Kreamer ANNVILLE Retired Funeral Director Robert E. Kreamer, 89, of 
  the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville formerly of 540 E. Maple Street and 618 E. 
  Main Street, Annville died Friday April 11, 2008 in the Hershey Medical Center. 
  He was the husband of the late Phyllis Hansen Kreamer who died June 12, 2001. 
  Born in Stewartstown, PA on January 19, 1919, he was the son of the late 
  William E. and Sarah Confair Kreamer. He was a second generation Licensed 
  Funeral Director and former owner of the Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville 
  retiring in 1984. Bob was a US Army Veteran of WW II serving with the 44th 
  Evacuation Hospital in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and 
  Central Europe. He was a 1936 graduate of Annville High School, Lebanon 
  Business School, and a 1941 graduate of Cincinnati College of Embalming. He was 
  a life long member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville where he 
  served as a deacon, elder, and church treasurer; Life member of the Annville 
  American Legion Post 559 and the Cleona Fire Company; member and past president 
  of the Annville-Cleona Kiwanis Club; Annville V.F.W. Post 8023; Annville Union 
  Hose Fire Company; Travelers Protective Association; Lebanon Country Club; 
  Central Chapter Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame; and for 46 years he served as 
  the Vice-President of the Annville Free Library Board of Directors. His 
  professional memberships included the National Funeral Directors Association, 
  the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and member and past president 
  of the LebanonSchuylkill County Funeral Directors Association. Surviving is a 
  son Steven R. husband of Brenda Sanger Kreamer of Annville and four daughters 
  Sue Ann wife of Robert Freeman of Baltimore, MD, Kristen Kreamer wife of Alex 
  Eldridge of Philadelphia, Stefanie wife of Benjamin Dohner of Annville, and 
  Holly wife of William Shirley of Downingtown. Also one brother Paul husband of 
  Claretta Noll Kreamer of Annville. Eleven grandchildren Michael and Elizabeth 
  Freeman, Kevin and Kirsten Dohner, Meghan, Matthew, and Kathleen Shirley, Adam 
  and Leah Eldridge, Christian and Kennedy Kreamer, and one great grandson Lucian 
  Freeman. He was preceded in death by four sisters Kathryn Rice, Dorothy Wendel, 
  Mary Friel, and Helen Richardson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 
  11:00 AM from Christ Church United Church of Christ, 200 S. White Oak Street, 
  Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery with Military 
  Honors. Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM at the Kreamer 
  Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St. Annville. There will be no viewing Wednesday at 
  the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his Church at 200 
  S. White Oak Street Annville, PA 17003.
