  Janet M. Kriner, 82, of ManorCare, Lebanon, Pa., passed away on Saturday, 
  October 11, 2008. Born on November 24, 1925, in Columbia, she was the daughter 
  of the late Francis J. and Reba Starn Leibfried. Janet was married to the late 
  Carlisle S. Kriner for 49 years. Janet retired from the former RCA Corporation 
  after 34 years of service, where she worked as a trolley exhaust operator. She 
  is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Bette) Kreiner, wife of the late Elmer 
  Kreiner Jr. of Grantville, Pa.; brothers Francis Leibfried of Marietta and 
  Thomas, husband of Carol Leibfried of Columbia, also survive. Janet was a 
  devoted daughter and sister, a loving wife and nurturing mother. A helpful co-
  worker and loyal friend, who enjoyed hosting family and friend gatherings. A 
  memorial service will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home Inc., 519 
  Walnut St., Columbia, Pa., on Thursday at 11 a.m. The family will receive 
  friends at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Kindly 
  omit flowers. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 North Progress 
  Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg PA 17110, in Janet's memory, would be deeply 
  appreciated.
