Labe, 82, of Myerstown, formerly of Wyomissing, on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 8:06 p.m. at E.C.C. Retirement Village- Stoneridge Campus, where she had resided for the last six years. Born May 31, 1925, in Telford, Bucks County, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. Boaman and Bertha S. (Stackel) Boaman. She was the wife of Russell P. Labe, who she resided with at E.C.C. Retirement Village- Stoneridge Campus. She was a 1943 graduate of Reading High School, and a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church- Reading, where she was a past president of L.C.W. of the church, choir member, and Sunday school teacher. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Eugene Stobenau in Reading for 20 years, retiring in June of 1985. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Russell P. Labe Jr., husband of Karen A. Labe Jr., of Bellemead, N.J.; daughters, Diane L. (Lobe) Seidel, wife of Calvin E. Seidel III of Reading, and Sharon A. (Labe) Rohland, wife of Kenneth R. Rohland of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Christy, Jayme, Althea, and Kevin; two great-grandchildren, Jaz & Sophia. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19th, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of the E.C.C. Retirement Village- Stonebridge Campus. The Rev. Robert G. Kaltenbaugh and Chaplain Dana Logan officiating. Private inurnment at Forest Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Friends received Saturday, January 19th, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the chapel. A reception will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 421 Windsor St., Reading, PA 19601; or the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
