  Jay E. Lane, 44, Lebanon, died Friday, October 17, 2008, in the Lancaster 
  General Hospital. He was the husband of Kim M. Doll Lane. He was born in 
  Lebanon on February 10, 1964, son of Anna M. Steffy Lane of Lebanon, and the 
  late John H. Lane Sr. He was employed by Hackman's Paving, Schaefferstown. He 
  was a member of Friendship Fire Co., R Field and Stream, and a social member of 
  the Annville American Legion Post. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother 
  are children Joshua D., husband of Amy Lane of Palmyra, Jessica L., wife of 
  Walter Berkheimer of Lebanon; grandchildren Gracey Lane, Lacey Lane and Caiden 
  Berkheimer; brother Joseph R. Stuckey Jr. and wife Wendy of Lebanon; sisters-in-
  law Tammy Lane of Lebanon, Mary Carpenter of North Carolina; brother-in-law 
  Dale Doll of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death 
  by brother John H. Lane Jr. Memorial services Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 8 
  p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, 
  where family and friends will be received Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. In lieu 
  of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lancaster General Hospital ICU, 
  555 Duke St., P.O. Box 355, Lancaster, PA 17604.
