Latshaw of Spring City, died Saturday afternoon March 15 , 2008, at Kindred Place in Annville, Pennsylvania. Mary was born on her mother's birthday, December 24th, in Royersford, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Carrie R. Rosenberger. She was one of five children, and was preceded in death by two brothers, John Rosenberger and Arthur Rosenberger; and by two sisters, Carrie Bauer and Ruth Herman. Mary was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania. After World War II, she and her husband lived in Spring City, Pennsylvania, for over 45 years, until Howard's death in 1992. In 1993, she moved to Woodland Estates in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and subsequently relocated to Kindred Place in Annville, Pennsylvania, in 2004. During the course of her life, Mary worked as a secretary at Floyd Wells in Royersford, in the bond department at the Langley Field Air Base in Virginia during World War II, and as a secretary for the Spring Ford Area School District, at Jacob Pattern Works in Pottstown, and in the office at Tauder Ford in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She was a 1940 graduate of the former Royersford High School. Mary was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church in Royersford, and subsequently St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her son, Dr. Robert F. Latshaw of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, husband of Perry Ehrgood Latshaw, and father of Mary's three granddaughters, Sarah E. Hodrick of Park City, Utah, Emily R. Latshaw of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Beth A. Latshaw of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Shalkop-Grace and Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St., Spring City, with the Rev. Kristal T. Smith of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 600 S. 12th Street, Lebanon, Pennsylvania 17042; or the charity of your choice.
