"Gerri" Lehman, 74 years, of Wrightsville died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at her residence. She was the wife of Donald I. Lehman Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Lehman observed their 56th wedding anniversary on December 30, 2007. Mrs. Lehman was born in Lebanon on December 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Edwin O. and Esther M. (Boltz) Barr. She was a 1951 graduate of the Lebanon Senior High School. Gerri was a partner with her husband of D & G Photo in Wrightsville. She also served as an Avon representative. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Wrightsville, where she was the former assistant organist for 25 years. Her memberships also include Historic Wrightsville, Abel-PoffLeithiser American Legion Post 469 Auxiliary, and secretary of the Sampson Air Force Base Veterans Association. She also enjoyed accompanying her husband by presenting the musical program, "Songs that live forever." In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by a son, Donald I. Lehman Jr., and companion Peggy Roberts of York; two daughters, Debra Runkle and husband Gary of Hellam, Denise Stokes and husband Jeffrey of York; two grandchildren, Corey Runkle, Alexis Lehman; three greatgrandchildren, Aidan Sipe, Brielle Runkle, Ryland Runkle; and a brother, Bruce Barr of Wrightsville. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2008, at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, with her pastor, the Rev. W. Keith Rockwell, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Viewings will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 404 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368; or Historic Wrightsville Inc., P. O. Box 125, Wrightsville, PA 17368. The Etzweiler Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, is in charge of arrangements.
