Harold Light, 95, of Hershey died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in the Twin Oaks Nursing Center, Campbelltown. He was born November 29, 1912, in Lebanon, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Spitler) Light. Harold was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and attended St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey. His memberships included the Areba Club, the Hershey Italian Lodge, and a life member of the Steelton American Legion Post 420, and the West End Republican Club in Harrisburg. Surviving are a son, Bryan H. Light of Hershey; daughter Gale A. Gibson and her husband, Don of Annville; grandson J. Scott Gibson; and greatgranddaughter Caitlynn; grandson Todd C. Gibson; and a sister, Ruth Kuhn of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Gilda (Schiavoni); and three brothers, Arthur M., Leonard S., Ernest L.; and four sisters, Beatrice Wells, Irene MacDonough, Louise Myers and Doris Peters. A visitation will be held 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Hershey, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church.
