  Longenecker, George E.    
   
  George E. Longenecker PALMYRA George E. Longenecker, 55, of Edison Road, 
  Palmyra, died Saturday, January 5, 2008, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. 
  Born August 5, 1952, in Hershey, he was a son of Irene (Nye) Longenecker of 
  Palmyra and the late Richard Longenecker. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and a 
  member of the CB Sportsman Club, Annville, and the Jonestown American Legion. 
  Surviving in addition to his mother are his paternal grandmother Esther 
  (Bowman) Longenecker of Annville; siblings Richard Longenecker of Carlisle, 
  Cathy Geib, Michael Longenecker, and Jeffrey Longenecker, all of Palmyra, and 
  Kelly Longenecker of Pittsburgh; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his 
  father, he was preceded in death by a brother Gary Lee Longenecker. Memorial 
  services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2007, at Buse Funeral Home, 
  145 North Grant Street, Palmyra, preceded by a visitation from 6 ñ 8 p.m. 
  Burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, will be at the convenience of the 
  family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American 
  Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
