  Michael A. Longo,    
   
   
  Michael A. Longo, 56, of Wideawake Street, Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, 
  June 16, in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Born on December 9, 
  1951, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth Longo and Ellen Lindsey 
  Longo McMahon. A stepfather, Robert McMahon, also preceded him in death. He was 
  a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, and was retired as a guard 
  at the Lebanon County Prison. He was in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the 
  Pine Grove American Legion Post 374. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne M. Kompa 
  Longo; two sons, Christopher and his wife Kelly Longo, and Jeremy Longo, both 
  of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Holly, Christal, Christopher Jr., Jessica; a 
  sister, Mary, wife of Clyde Rhen of Port Carbon; and his cat, Muffin. Funeral 
  services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008, at 12 p.m. in the H.L. Snyder 
  Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Dr. Richard W. Schoenleber officiating. 
  There will be a viewing on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the 
  funeral home. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. 
  The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to either the 
  Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Pediatric Unit, 500 University Drive, Hershey, 
  PA 17033; or the Hillside S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901, in his 
  memory
