  Elizabeth Jane Lukas of Lebanon, Pa., passed away on October 6, 2008. She was 
  born May 29, 1928, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Seymour E. Weil and Mildred 
  Welsh Weil. Liz was married to Daniel S. Lukas, M.D., for 58 years. She is 
  survived by her three children, Rodger of Honolulu, Hawaii, Claudia of Redwood 
  City, Calif., and Brian of Studio City , Calif.; her sister, Mary W. Stein of 
  Tucson, Ariz.; and her sister-in-law, Dolores Lukas Walker of New Gretna, N.J.; 
  and nieces Phoebe Stein Krause, Bari Walker Burke, Laura Walker Rambo; and a 
  nephew, Wayne Walker. Her brother, Robert Weil, preceded her in death. Having 
  lived in Larchmont, N.Y., Eastham, Mass., Manchester, N.H., Haddonfield, N.J., 
  and most recently, for 24 years, in Lebanon, Pa. Liz touched many people and 
  made many good friends. She had a passion for literature, reading widely, and 
  loved solving crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed gardening. In recent years, 
  she enjoyed exploring the Internet, and staying in contact with friends and 
  family. She was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 
  Cornwall. Liz is missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. 
  Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 
  Eighth St. Lebanon, 17046. Interment at the convenience of the family. 
  Visitation will be held from 9-10 prior to Mass at the church. In lieu of 
  flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 335 S. Eighth 
  St. Lebanon, PA 17042. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in charge of arrangements.
