Lux, 92, Cedar Haven, formerly of Miller Street, Lebanon, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Lester B. Lux, to whom she had been married for 43 years. She was born in Lebanon on October 10, 1915, daughter of the late William V. and Ella Kercher Heller. She had been employed by the former No-Mend Hosiery. She was a life long member attending the church when it was located across the street from its present location, and very active in the Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, Lebanon, where she was a member of the Missionary Society, Methodist Women, choir, bible school and Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Lebanon Senior Center and New Beginnings Group. Surviving are children Marilyn F., wife of Ernest M. Shott of Lebanon, William D. Lux Sr. and wife Arnetta, Judith A. Frank of Palmyra, Karen L., wife of Neil C. Parks Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Gordon Heller, Betheir Heller, Marlin Heller; sisters Hermenia McGowan and Theda Garman. Funeral service Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Kochenderfer UM Church, 1105 Kochenderfer Road, Lebanon, where a viewing will be held beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
