Coyle E. Martin, 77, of Gretna Springs, 236 Maple Avenue, Manheim, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at his residence. He was the husband of Doris Pautz Martin, with whom he celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on November 7, 2008. Born in Elizabethtown on August 21, 1931, he was the son of the late Coyle S. and Mary Koser Martin. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked for Cleaver Brooks in Lebanon as an inventory control analyst. He attended the North Annville Bible Church, was a life member of the Palmyra Sportsmen's Club, and a member of the Palmyra American Legion. He was an avid fan of Penn State football and NASCAR. He enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, and volunteering at Gretna Springs. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Brenda K., wife of Larry A. Buffenmeyer of Annville; a son, Keith A. Martin, and wife Debra of Gloucester Point, Va., a son, Jeffery S. Martin of Lake Orion, Mich.; and a daughter, Cathy R. Martin of Round Rock, Texas; sisters Dorothy, wife of Donald Steck of Reading, and Ethel, wife of Irv Demerse of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Kylene Wolfe, Ashlee Birge, Laura Ashley, Jordan and Molly Martin; and three greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the North Annville Bible Church, 4590 Hill Church Road, Annville. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. Viewing will be held on Monday night from 6- 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. There will also be a viewing from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, P.O. Box 1281, Lebanon, PA 17042; or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
