  Fern S. Martin PALMYRA Fern S. Martin, 71, of South Grant Street, Palmyra died 
  Thursday, March 6, 2008 in her home. Born April 13, 1936 in Hummelstown, she 
  was the daughter of the late Samuel M. and Grace M. (Fasnacht) Shearer. With 45 
  years of service, she was retired from Milton Hershey School; was a member of 
  the First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra and the Campbelltown 
  American Legion. She was the widow of Gilger C. Martin, Jr. who died July 13, 
  2001 and was also preceded in death by a daughter Theresa Stamm. Surviving are 
  her daughter Sandra Morrison of Palmyra; brother Leon J. Shearer of Palmyra; 4 
  grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM 
  Monday, March 10, 2008 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra 
  preceded by a viewing from 2:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be 9:30 
  AM Tuesday in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Published in the Lebanon
