  Edward A. Mattioli LEBANON Edward A. Mattioli, 95, of ManorCare, Lebanon, died 
  Monday, April 7, 2008, in ManorCare. He was the husband of the late Alice E. 
  Clark Mattioli, who died in 2006; and his first wife, Helen Matters Mattioli. 
  Born in Lebanon on December 22, 1912, he was the son of the late Nicholas and 
  Maria Crucifix Mattioli. He was a retired freightman for the Reading Railroad, 
  and was a member of St. Mary's Church. He was a member of the Pennsylvania 
  Sports Hall of Fame for his tennis skills. He was one of the area's best in the 
  1940s and early '50s, winning four city-county singles titles, several 
  citycounty doubles crowns and numerous lesser titles. He enjoyed along with 
  tennis, polka music and dancing. Surviving are four children, Edward Mattioli 
  of Lebanon, Grace, wife of Ronald Herman of Lebanon, Veronica Dunlap of Lebanon 
  and Mario Mattioli of Camp Hill; five grandchildren, Tonya Felty, Ember Dunlap, 
  Tyler Herman, Lisa Schlegel and Lori Boehmer; five greatgrandchildren; one 
  sister, Ester Beaupre of Vermont; and several nieces and nephews. He was 
  preceded in death by his beloved son, Dennis Mattioli; and two greatgrandsons, 
  Matthew and Kyle; and several brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial 
  Thursday at 10 from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St. Lebanon. Interment Holy 
  Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Thursday morning 8:30-9:30 at Thompson Funeral 
  Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St. Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made 
  to the Alzheimers Association, Building 2, Suite 321, 2001 N. Front St.,
