  Maulfair, Ella Mae (Deck)   
   
  Ella Mae (Deck) Maulfair, age 84, died Monday, December 22, 2008, in the 
  Colonial Park Care Center. She was formerly of East Hanover Township, Dauphin 
  County. She is the wife of the late Richard C. Maulfair, who died May 6, 1985. 
  She was born on December 21, 1924, in Avon Heights, Lebanon County, to John and 
  Alice Derr Deck. She was a homemaker, but worked for seven years as a factory 
  worker for Hershey Chocolate Factory. She was a member of the St. John's 
  Evangelical Congregational Church in Steelstown. She enjoyed traveling, bus 
  trips, eating at various restaurants, crocheting and Blue Grass music. 
  Surviving are her sons, Gerald E. Maulfair and his wife, Jan of Duncannon; 
  Michael R. Maulfair and his wife, June of Enhaut; Curtis L. Maulfair and his 
  wife Pamela, of Hummelstown; grandchildren Cary and Anthony Maulfair; three 
  great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Deck; and a sister, Caroline Speck, both 
  of Hummelstown. A brother and six sisters precede her in death. Relatives and 
  friends are invited for a time of viewing on Saturday, December 27, 2008, from 
  9:30 to 10:30 at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine Street, Palmyra, 
  followed by her funeral with the Rev. William McEllroy Jr. officiating. Burial 
  will follow in the Hershey Cemetery.
