Maulfair, 86, of 311 Reigerts Lane, Annville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. He was the husband of the late Ruth Meyer Maulfair, who died in 1995. He was born in Palmyra on October 27, 1921; he was the son of the late Chester S. and Edna L. Geib Maulfair. Malcolm was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II from 1942 to 1946. Upon returning from the service, he was employed by Keystone Mills in Annville for 26 years. He later worked at Milsan Mills in Lebanon for eight years. He retired from the AnnvilleCleona School District, where he worked for seven years as a head custodian and bus driver. Malcolm was a faithful member of Kauffman's United Methodist Church for many years, and served the church in many ways. He loved being a part of the church's congregation. He was an active member of the Annville Senior Center, where he volunteered for many years. He greatly enjoyed the many friendships he had made at the senior center. Among his hobbies were gardening, taking care of his lawn, coin collecting, and helping other people. Malcolm was a great husband and father. He is survived by one son, Brian L. Maulfair, with whom he lived; two sisters, Dorothy Light of Quentin and Josephine Ratliff of Middletown. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Maulfair; and one sister, Lucille Dabich. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. from Kauffman's United Methodist Church, 380 Kauffman Road, Annville. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and prior to the service at the church.
