  Edna M. Mays MT. ZION Edna M. Mays, 91, of Mt. Zion, Pa., died Tuesday, March 
  18, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the widow Jacob I. 
  Mays Sr., who died October 23, 1990. Born in Rapho Township, Pa., on October 2, 
  1916, she was the daughter of the late Phares and Bertha Lehman Sweitzer. She 
  retired from San Giorgio Macaroni, Lebanon, Pa., where she worked for 34 years. 
  She was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Schaefferstown, Pa., and a member of the 
  Red Rose Horse & Pony Club of Lancaster. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and 
  animals. She is survived by daughters Betty Jane Snyder of Mt. Zion, Pa., 
  Marie, wife of Walter Rank of Myerstown, Pa., Ruth Ann, wife of Donald Rabold 
  of Schaefferstown, Pa.; and a son, Robert, husband of Brenda Mays of Mt. Zion, 
  Pa.; 17 grandchildren; 40 greatgrandchildren; 35 greatgreat-grandchildren; 
  sisters Irene Royer of Schaefferstown, Pa., Violet, wife of Loren Wise of 
  Alaska, Betty Belemonte of Manheim, Pa., and Dorothy Ruhl of Lancaster, Pa. She 
  was preceded in death by a son, Jacob "Jim" Mays Jr., in 2006. Funeral services 
  will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 
  W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at 
  Schaefferstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made 
  to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042.
