  McKemy, Virginia    
   
   
  Virginia McKemy Shiner Virginia (nee McKemy) of Gloucester Township, N.J., died 
  on August 24, 2008, at the age of 107. Born May 7, 1901, in Staunton, Va., she 
  moved to Lebanon, Pa., as a teenager. She worked at the Bon Ton Department 
  Store cosmetic counter for many years. There she met her husband, Dalvin, who 
  worked in the men's department. They were married 82 years. He died in 2007 at 
  104 years. In 1981, they moved to New Jersey to be near their daughter and two 
  grandsons, with whom they lived for the last 16 years. They attended the First 
  Presbyterian Church of Blackwood. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia 
  Hirsekorn; and grandsons Andrew Hirsekorn and Christopher Hirsekorn. A memorial 
  service will be announced at a later date. Published in the Lebanon Daily News
