He was the husband of Maria C. Avila. Born in Villa Morelos, Michoac1/3n, Mexico, on December 28, 1950, he was the son of Maria T. Mendez of Mexico, and the late Guillermo Corona. He worked as a truck driver assistant for Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, and he was a member of the St. Benedict The Abbot Church, Lebanon. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons Octavio Corona Jr. and Fernando Corona; daughters Leslie Corona and Paola Corona, all at home; and brothers Jose David Corona of Lebanon and Jose Luis Corona of Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 72 and Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. (New Location). Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
