  Ethel C. "Connie" Michael, 87, of 590 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, died Wednesday, 
  October 22, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital She was born May 14, 1921, in New 
  York City, N.Y. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She had 
  been a secretary for Bethlehem Steel, and later was director of the TB and 
  Child Health Society. She was an avid bridge player. Surviving are children 
  Kirby Michael of Palmyra and Karen Chronister of South Carolina; grandchildren 
  Dylan Michael and Charles Chronister; and three greatgrandchildren. She was 
  preceded in death by husband Rodger J. Michael on May 4, 1991. Memorial 
  services may be scheduled at a later date. Memorials can be sent to Lebanon 
  Community Library, 125 N. Seventh Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.
