Miller, 91, of East Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born July 10, 1917, in Palmyra, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Moyer) Miller. He retired from Hershey Foods, was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra, and a charter member of the Palmyra VFW No. 6417. Serving our country during World War II, he was in the Philippines, New Guinea and Japan. He enjoyed traveling, reading, local history, and being with his family. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Blessing) Miller, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Miller Prince. Surviving are his sons, James E. Miller, husband of Barbara Glunz Miller of Harrisburg, and William F. Miller of Hershey; daughter Frances DiNunzio Ebersole, wife of Jay Ebersole of Hershey; and their three children, Jaybob, Jason, and Jan-Michael Ebersole. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Pennsylvania, 3315 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111; or the VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042.
