  Robert L. Minnich MANHEIM Robert L. Minnich, 91, went home to be with the Lord 
  on Saturday, March 8, 2008, in the Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Home, 
  Manheim, Lancaster County. He was the husband of the late Alma C. Eyrich 
  Minnich. He was born on February 8, 1917, in Paradise, Calif., to Jessie and 
  Clara Blocher Minnich. Robert retired after 37 1/2 years from Hershey Foods 
  Corporation from the janitorial department. He was a member of the Palmyra 
  United Christian Church. He enjoyed reading, listening to music and taking 
  walks. Surviving him are a son, David L. Minnich and his wife Ann of Reading; a 
  brother, Chester Minnich of Landisburg; his grandchildren, Bonnie, wife of 
  Thomas Dourte of Lebanon, Shirley, wife of Brian Miller of Myerstown, Angel and 
  DJ Minnich; four great-grandchildren, Kendra Chadwick, Nicolaa Gray, Gabriella 
  Gray and Skylar Miller. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Minnich; 
  and a sister Naomi Wampler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time 
  for viewing on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, from 9:3010:30 at the Rothermel 
  Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, followed by his funeral service 
  with the Rev. John P. Ludwig Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring 
  Creek Cemetery, Hershey.
