  William J. Mitchell, 99, of Cornwall Manor, Cornwall, Pa., died Tuesday, August 
  5, 2008, at the home. He was the husband of the late Ethel F. Vollbrecht 
  Mitchell. He is survived by a son, John W. Mitchell of Mohnton, Pa.; and three 
  grandchildren. Memorial Mass Friday at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, 2596 
  Cornwall Road, PO Box 136, Cornwall, PA 17016. Interment at Holy Savior 
  Cemetery. Visitation Friday 9-10 a.m. at the church.  Thompson Funeral Home 
  Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the arrangements.

  Snyder, Derrick S.    
   
   
  Derrick S. Snyder, 3, of rural Rebersburg died Saturday, August 9, 2008, along 
  with his father and older brother, as a result of injuries sustained in a truck 
  accident in Ohio He was born March 8, 2005, in Mifflintown, a son of Martha 
  Burkholder Snyder, who survives at home, and the late Dwayne Snyder. He and his 
  family attended Brush Valley Mennonite Church. In addition to his mother, he is 
  survived by a sister, Emily D. Snyder, at home; his maternal grandparents, Elam 
  and Fern Burkholder of Ephrata; and his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Martha 
  Snyder of Fredericksburg; along with aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be 
  received from 2 p. m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p. m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 
  New Hope Lutheran Church, 119 Cobblestone Road, off State Route 45, just West 
  of Spring Mills. The funeral will be at 10 a. m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 
  New Hope Lutheran Church with the Reverends Marvin and Kenneth Freed 
  officiating. Burial will be in the Yearick Cemetery, adjacent to Brush Valley 
  Mennonite Church on State Route 192, near Madisonburg.
