Moyer, 65, of 547 Prospect Road, Manheim, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital due to complications associated with her illness of pulmonary hypertension. Born in Lebanon County, she was the daughter of Martha M. Reber Dubble Hackman of Lancaster, and the late Myron S. Dubble. Dona was employed in the office staff of a variety of local Manheim businesses throughout the years. She was the wife of Earl M. Moyer, and they observed their 45th wedding anniversary on June 15th of this year. Dona was a very active member of East Fairview Church of the Brethren Manheim. She and her husband were faithful members, working and volunteering their time with the Manheim Farm Show Committee for 40 years. Her interests included sewing, knitting, crocheting and crafts of all types. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Tamme F., wife of Dave L. Barley; and a son, Scott A., husband of Ann Summy Moyer, all of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Roger, husband of Jan Dubble of Chicago, and Kean, husband of Joan Dubble of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Hess; and a brother, Malcom Dubble. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the East Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim, on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jimm A. Roland and Scott A. Moyer officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Tuesday evening 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be additional viewing time on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. The Buch Funeral Home, Manheim, is in charge of arrangements.
